Active Parents, Happy School...

Parents and teachers maintain an active Home and School Association, similar to the PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) which is a part of public schools.  All parents are encouraged to assist in the programs of the school, the Home and School Association, and other functions sponsored by the school.

The Home and School Executive Committee is composed of the elected members from each constituent church, in addition to the President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Parents are encouraged to attend Home and School Association meetings, which are held once a month to plan activities.  Some of the activities sponsored by the Home and School Association each year include the Open House potluck supper, the Christmas potluck, the Twin Cities Volleyball Tournament, and roller skating.  The goal is to plan one family activity for each month of the school year.

The Home and School Association sponsors the sale of fresh citrus fruit from Florida each month from November to March.  The profits from the fruit sale are used to help with the above programs, as well as the expenses for Eighth Grade Graduation, New Student Visitation Day, Science Fair, Track and Field Day, and other programs as needed.
